Parents, teachers and students, just the fact that The Ministry of Water and Energy which is a government ministry controlling all projects and institutions in the oil and gas industry in Cameroon choses Cameroon Petrochemical engineering Academy to be the Institution to offer training to the Coordination and Follow-up Committee Members of the Etinde Gas convention, is enough reason for you to study in the same institution.

Take note that these Committee members are directors from five different ministries.

The Etinde Gas Convention concerns an International Oil company called New Age Oil and Gas Production Sa and CM LNG SA. They will be producing gas for over 20 years and will be providing over three thousand employment opportunities to Cameroonians. With the composition of the committee, we should understand that oil and gas skilled personnel are also necessary in these ministries. This confirms the fact that Oil and Gas Graduates can gain employment in any other industry or ministry; not only in the Ministry concern with Hydrocarbons.
